| once again fear has takens its toll on me... fear of uncomfort,
rejection and disbelief... why didn't i just trust and follow the
already made road ahead of me... hits hard when life slaps you in the
face and sucker punches you too many times to count... its not your
problem, its mind... my lack of knowledge and wisdom, my pridefulness,
my stubbornness, and my jugdmental ways i vowed never to
convey....brainwashed to think one way, without openmindedness... i
pray for others to see the light, but really i was the one who needed
to be prayed for...
i find myself speaking openly with some, but
when its a challenge, i shut myself up cuz its too difficult...too
difficult for me alone... but i wasn't alone...i never am... sure you
are always there... but did i depend on you? should i have?
i thot i trust and have faith... but i really don't... i thot i grew up, but i'm still where i began...
to speak is a great skill to have, but to listen is much more greater...
Wisdom
calls aloud in the street,she raises her voice in the public squares;
at the head of the noisy streets she cries out,in the gateways of the
city she makes her speech: "How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? Proverbs 1:20-22
My
son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,
turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding,
and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if
you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,
then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of
God. For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and
understanding. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be
pleasant to your soul. Proverbs 2:1-6,10
The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding. Job 28:28
So
do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous
right hand. Isaiah 41:10
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge
Him. And He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
There
is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under
heaven...God has made everything beautiful in due time. Ecclesiastes
3:1,11
Humble yourselves...under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. 1 Peter 5:6
May my cry come before you, O LORD: give me understanding according to your word Psalm 119:169
everyday is a learning process...
